Mariners Considering Re-Signing Bedard?

MLB.com's Jim Street writes of "rumblings in blogo-land that [free agent lefty Erik] Bedard could soon re-up with the Mariners." Street believes Bedard could be ready to pitch in June or July.
Bedard, 31 in March, had shoulder surgery on August 14th of last year for a torn labrum and inflamed bursa. He'd previously had a shoulder procedure in September of '08.
Given the uncertainty of his return date, we haven't heard much on Bedard this winter. The Orioles, Royals, and Red Sox have shown interest, but Bedard said in August he wants to return to the Mariners. As of December, the Ms were known to be involved in his rehab process.
