Default Eiland Believes He's Corrected Burnett's Mechanical Flaw

Yankees pitching coach Dave Eiland believes he has helped correct a mechanical flaw in the delivery of struggling pitcher A.J. Burnett.

Eiland returned to New York on Tuesday after taking a 25-day personal leave.

Burnett threw a 35-pitch bullpen session before the Yankees took on the Mariners Wednesday night.

Hopefully, he can't repeat the same mechanics constantly which is the reason he's been getting racked.
