Offseason Free Agency [Send Offers to Drew]
Free Agency will be kept onto a PM basis to private all offers but the rumors thread may disclose any hints of offers being put on the table.
General Rules
- You can only bid what you have ONCE (e.g. if you have $20M cap space, you CANNOT offer both Chris Bosh and LeBron James $20M each, you can either offer to one of them or split it $10M per player)
- The MLE is a $4.5M/1 Year contract offer, it cannot be split or extended with more years
- You only have the MLE to offer if you are over the cap or under the cap by $4,499,999 or less
- The LLE is a $1.2M/1 Year contract offer, it cannot be split or extended with more years
- You only have the LLE to offer if you are over the cap or under the cap by $1,199,999 or less
- The minimum contract is one year and varies from $332k - $1M based on the player's experience
- The maximum contract is up to 105% of the player's previous salary OR $12.5M (0-6 years EXP), $15M (7-9 years EXP), $17.5M (10+ years EXP), whichever is greater between the 105% or set max
- With one or two bird years, you can offer your player up to 120% of his previous salary
- With three or more bird years, you can offer your player up to the maximum contract as well as 12.5% increase and a 7th year
- Offers that pertain to resigning players take priority over other offers and count towards your cap space offered
- No "if" secondary offers, you must wait for a player to decline your offer or you must rescind your offer before putting that offer elsewhere
- You must have at least 12 players and be above the cap floor ($58M) by the end of Day 5 Free Agency or else the CPU will sign you required players using your bird rights, cap space, MLE, LLE or minimum contract offers
Submitting Offers
To submit offers, please copy the following format for each player you offer to and PM it to Drew. PLEASE SEND ONE PERSONAL MESSAGE WITH ALL YOUR OFFERS, with your TEAM NAME as the subject line. I WILL ONLY READ THE LAST ONE.

Years: # Of Years In The Contract Offer
Increase: % Of Salary Increase In The Contract Offer
Promises: No Trade Clause, #1 Scoring Option, Top 2 Scoring Option, Top 3 Scoring Option, Starter, Sixth Man (means TWO 2nd String roles on the depth chart), 2nd String Player
The player will either sign within 24 hours or if they have not signed with your team or another, you will get a response stating:
- Not Even Close (player is offended by the offer and has cut all ties with your team)
- Interested but... (has a better offer and/or adds conditions the player may want such as a better role, more long term stability, higher salary, etc.)
