Official Trade & Free Agency Signings
To submit a trade, please PM me (Drew) with the information of trade and your reason of acceptance. Both parties must do this in order for a trade to be approved, a GM may not back out of a trade once it has been sent.
Trades must follow these rules:
- Salaries must be within 115% in exchange
- Trades can only be done between two teams
- You cannot trade a player you just signed for at least 60 simulation days
- You cannot trade a player with a No Trade Clause unless the player waives it
- The maximum outgoing players is 5 for each side
- Draft picks count as a player and you can only trade picks within the two year window
- You must always have at least one first round pick every other year
- Draft picks cannot be protected
Cash used in trades must follow these rules:
- If cash is included, the minimum amount is $250,000 and the maximum is $3 million
- There must be a player being moved in any trade involving cash.
- Cash cannot be used as a substitute for salaries to match the 115% rule.
- The sum of cash in the trade must be at MAXIMUM, 25% of the total salaries in all being exchanged between the teams.
(For example, if you trade a $5M player for a $5M player, the total amount of cash in the trade is limited to $2.5 million. To quickly find out how much cash you can use, add up the total salaries of the current year of all players in the trade, multiply by 0.25, and that's the total amount of cash available to be swapped)
