Default Deandre Jordan next in line to get overpaid

The Warriors will sign DeAndre Jordan to a four-year, $40 million offer sheet, according to multiple sources.

Because Jordan is a restricted free agent, the Clippers will have three days to match the offer.

Jordan reportedly has already received an offer from the Clippers for $40 million, but it is for five years. Jordan's annual average is $2 million higher under Golden State's offer.

The Warriors will not need to amnesty Andris Biedrins to acquire Jordan.

seriously? 8 million was already ridiculous enough, but 10 million is Eddy Curry status

He has potential to be worth this kind of money as he'd give you 10/10 and 2.5 BPG in full starter minutes especially in comparison to what other C's are getting paid. He fits perfectly in the Warriors system too but I doubt the Clippers let him walk.

but he hasn't done anything special to earn it, he only averaged 7/7 last year and the Clippers aren't even a playoff team, I know they have Griffin and Kaman, but that's still no excuse to give a guy like him this contract. It's the whole RFA and that's how it works, you have to desperately overpay a guy to even get him. That's why I'm worried about some rival team doing that to Stuckey, even if he has yet to have a "breakout season"
