Clippers emerge as frontrunner for CP3

The Clippers have emerged as the "early frontrunner" to acquire Chris Paul now that talks with the Lakers have fallen apart.

The Hornets were previously seeking a package built around Eric Gordon from the Clippers. But the Clippers have been reluctant to part with too many assets for Paul due to concerns about a long-term commitment.

Clippers won't give up DeAndre Jordan or Eric Gordon without CP3 committing long term right away so I guess the offer would be something along the lines of Chris Kaman, Eric Bledsoe, Al-Farouq Aminu, the Timberwolves unprotected 2012 1st and possibly more picks for CP3.

I think the clippers have to give up at least either Deandre Jordan or Eric Gordon to land CP3... I doubt the Hornets would want Bledsoe or Aminu.. The Celtics had a good offer, but they just signed Jeff Green to a contract, so I dont think they are in the running anymore
