Yeah, but we haven't even reached a stable point yet to do this. We need to have at least 25+ active posters in each section first. The staff's team time would be more efficiently spent recruiting and posting until then.

I was thinking of a TSC point prize (I dont know if you can add points without the user earning them through posting, replies, etc) for the Sim Leagues. 1st place gets 10,000 TSC points or whatever, 2nd place gets 5000, 3rd gets 2500. I just figure it will provide more incentive for the GMs beyond that of bragging rights. It would also help with the parity in TSC points between the people who just joined and the people who have been here for a while.

Well the thing is it's a lot easier to get GM activity opposed to sports talk posting from members here hence TSC Points is used as incentives to encourage more regular posting from users. Over the past 3 years, the Sim Leagues always drained the rest of the site's activity, so I don't think we want to give more incentive for users to be more active in the league opposed to being regular sports talk posters.

The monthly poster awards do motivate some people (poster of the month, thread starter of the month, best new recruit, best recruiter ect)

You could offer tsc points for the winner each month.

It rewards site activity and I have seen it work, plus people like to be recognized for what they contribute, it will help build site loyalty.

agreed, if it's consistent, then it's a great way to promote activity.

Having stuff like best NBA,MLB,NFL,NHL poster might help the activity in all 4 sections as well (and off topic could get it's own in time, if we could get that place booming).

Those were already in mind starting for June but definitely a good idea we will implement.

Yeah, I'm thinking we'll do it for the four sections but not Off-Topic as it runs itself and sparking the Big Four is the key focus as of right now.
